Gregory S. Walls: Principal & Financial Services Professional
Greg joined The Insurance Advisor on March 1, 2013 as an Independent Agent and Associate Smart Choice Territory Manager with The Insurance Advisor. He has over twenty four years of insurance experience–ten years with the Tony Lucas Nationwide Agency and over two years building his own Nationwide Agency. Greg is an honors graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He majored in Finance with an Insurance and Risk Management Concentration.
Greg is a member of Gamma Iota Sigma Risk and Insurance Fraternity and a recipient of the Society of Financial Services Professionals 2005 Scholarship. He is an NCAA and High School certified supervisor and official. In this role, he coordinates schedules for over 200 officials and 60 schools serving as liaison between school athletic departments and officials. In addition, Greg serves as the Music Pastor at Victory Tabernacle Church of God in Midlothian, Virginia. He and his wife, Pam, along with their children, Kirsten and Luke, are active participants in the community.
Roger Gill, founder of The Insurance Advisor is also a Smart Choice Territory Manager for Virginia. He has over 20 years of insurance experience, a BA in Economics, a MA in Higher Education Administration, and EdS degree in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Law–all from The College of William and Mary. After serving over 16 years as a college administrator, with Richard Bland College of The College of William and Mary, he became an associate agent with Nationwide Insurance at The Henn Agency in Petersburg, Virginia. During his tenure with Nationwide Insurance, he also founded MyBiz OnLine Services, which specializes in online marketing and advertising services primarily for Insurance Agents.
Roger combines his education and years of administrative and insurance experience to provide the highest quality insurance and financial services for his clients. He recently has developed “Maximize Your Retirement;” a program to assist pre-retirees and retirees in planning for and in enhancing their retirement. As a Smart Choice Agents Territory Manager for Virginia, he works with independent and captive insurance agents to provide more insurance carriers and services to better serve their clients and to develop and grow their agencies. Rose Marie Tronge: Insurance Agent
As a licensed agent for personal and commercial insurance, Rose Marie works with small to mid-size businesses, and has experience working directly with senior executives within major corporations. Her experience with contract negotiations and managing financial records gives her the competency that is necessary when conducting insurance risk assessments.
With more than 20 years in the marketing industry, it made perfect sense for Rose Marie to evolve into an insurance advisory role for small to medium size businesses. Rose Marie works with artisan contractors, restaurants, commercial truck drivers, retail shops, and also provides auto, home and renters insurance products. Prior to getting her insurance license in 2015, Rose Marie worked as a Project Manager with MyBiz OnLine Services. Her role as Project Manager was instrumental for her insurance clients as she developed each agency’s online marketing strategy using social media, blogging, video production and email campaigns.
Rose Marie is able to provide an extra level of service from her knowledge of developing complex sales objectives, revenue forecasting and conducting account/forecast reviews. This experience allows for a more accurate risk analysis of the client’s overall insurance needs. While working as a District Marketing Manager for Farmers, Rose Marie was directly involved with the training of new agent recruits; educating the new agents on generating sales growth opportunities, measuring sales activities and tracking key indicators of success. Rose Marie enjoys spending time with her son and volunteering for local nonprofits. In a four year period, she has generated more than $31,000 in funds for March of Dimes and local churches.
